		A colorized transmission electron microscopy (TEM) image of the fractal pattern created during an in situ TEM study of the Au-Si eutectic reaction at approximately 363°C. The sample, produced by microfabrication, initially consisted of a 1 mm free-standing Au film supported by a Si washer with an outer diameter of 3 mm.
