New Control of Artificial Optical Radiation at Work Regulations 2010, brought into law in Great Britain on 27th April 2010, the occupational UV light exposure limits specified by the EU Optical Radiation Directive 2006/25/EC

This article is intended to provide an insight into the new regulations, creating awareness and assisting those responsible for the health and safety of persons exposed to UV light in the workplace, to identify their duties and possible obligations to revise existing risk assessments under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
