Enthone Inc. recently celebrated the two-year anniversary of the ENTEK® OSP Final Finish Verification Program, Since its inception, the program has enabled OEMs, EMS, and printed circuit board (PCB) fabricators to increase yields, improve quality, and reduce rework and rejects. This has translated to over $1,500,000 USD of savings to the entire supply chain.
Specifically, the program ensures product reliability throughout the supply chain by allowing OEM and EMS companies to easily confirm that the ENTEK OSP-coated printed circuit boards (PCBs) they purchase are supplied by a certified ENTEK PCB fabricator. The program also provides the PCB fabricator with confirmation of approved distributors that possess and therefore are authorized to distribute, sell and provide technical support of ENTEK OSP final finish chemistry.
“The verification program continues to create significant value for our customers by providing immediate assurance of receiving the real ENTEK coating and optimum performance that they desire and specify," said Joseph Renda, Director of Global Market Management – ENTHONE® PCB Final Finishes.
The ENTEK OSP Final Finish Verification Program also offers assistance on the selection and process optimization of all ENTHONE final finishes. Customers may confirm that they are receiving PCBs coated with a certified ENTEK OSP system by visiting http://enthone.com/ENTEK_PLUS_HT.aspx. Upon completion of an extremely short online submission form, an ENTHONE Final Finish Expert will provide an immediate verification response, address questions, and arrange for any further consultations requested by the customer.
