The European Commission has identified a number of key enabling technologies as being main drivers for developing the European industry sectors until year 2020. These include Micro- and nano-electronics, Photonics, Nanotechnologies, Advanced materials, Biotechnology and Advanced manufacturing and processing.

Precision engineering plays an important role in addressing and further developing all of these key enabling technologies for the benefit of industry and society.  In fact, most of these topics are covered by euspen and its International Conference.

This event offers the possibility to see latest advances in traditional precision engineering fields such as metrology, ultra precision machines and ultra precision manufacturing and assembly processes. Another important topic is motion control in precision systems. Furthermore, new topics will be addressed covering precision engineering for medical products and additive manufacturing technologies.

Topics Include:

  • Renewable Energy Technologies
  • Precision Engineering for Medical Products
  • Addititve Manufacturing for Precision Engineering
  • Nano & Micro Metrology
  • Ultra Precision Machines
  • Ultra Precision Manufacturing & Assembly Processes
  • Important/Novel Advances in Precision Engineering & Nano Technologies
  • Motion Control in Precision Systems, Nano & Micro Manufacturing
