NanoFIS 2016 – Functional Integrated nano Systems

The International Conference on "nanoFIS 2016 - Functional Integrated nano Systems" was held for the second time 27^th to 29^th June 2016 in Graz, Austria.

A total of 130 scientists, researchers, engineers, technologists, and advanced students from 28 nations from all over the world joined the nanoFIS 2016 and made the conference a great success. Recent advances in Micro- and Nanoelectronics in particular in the topics "Advanced Functional Materials", "Nanosensors", "3D-System Integration & Packaging", "Reliability" and "Smart Manufacturing Processes" were presented in 48 talks. About 46 posters presented by young and active researchers significantly contributed to the high scientific level of the conference. This was appreciated by the Materials Center Leoben GmbH by sponsoring and awarding 3 poster prizes.

The participation of EVGroup, Raith Nanofabrication, Anton Paar GmbH, SVCS Process Innovation, Keysight Technologies, ams AG, Microtrac and Finetech GmbH in the company exhibition demonstrated the industrial relevance of the nanoFIS conference.
