Arcam AB plans to move its electron beam melting (EBM) additive manufacturing (AM) business into a refurbished 11,800 ft2 facility outside Gothenburg, Sweden.

This new, modern facility is almost three times the size of the current site, and will offer Arcam EBM the ability to continue to expand and set the stage for the accelerated growth of the AM industry. According to Arcam, the space will significantly increase machine production capacity and allow for a more collaborative set-up within the company by uniting logistics, research and development, services and operations. The facility will be open in the first quarter of 2019.
