Louis Davis, AM consultant and director of marketing at Stone Interactive Group, has created a diagrams setting out the various machines and processes now available in AM.

'In my experience consulting for a major metal additive manufacturing company, I saw a huge need to visually organize and delineate between the many different metal additive manufacturing technologies that are commercially available, particularly those using powders versus those using wire,' he said. 

He has created the featured diagram as educational resources for the metal AM printing community at large, using Senvol's database as a primary source with permission.
