Additive manufacturing company 3rd Dimension Industrial 3D Printing has ordered a MetalFAB1 3D printing system to produce large parts. According to the companies, the technology allows 3rd Dimension to build parts in the largest symmetrical build volume currently commercially available.

‘3rd Dimension understands how to do series production with additive manufacturing and integrates subtractive processes to create the highest quality parts for automotive, aerospace and consumer applications,’ said Shane Collins, general manager of Additive Industries North America.
