The MPIF says that the program for the Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing of Titanium (PMTi2019) conference is now available.

The conference takes place on 24–27 September 2019, in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, the first time that the conference will be held in the United States, the organization says.

Technical sessions begin on 25 September and feature over 90 presentations including:

  • Titanium laser powder bed additive manufacturing development at Boeing, by Jim Dobbs, Boeing
  • Titanium sintering – from atomic motion to production, by Randall German, FAPMI, San Diego State University
  • Additive metallurgy of titanium alloys, by Qian Ma, RMIT University
  • From MIM to AM: the flexibility of binder-based sintering technologies, by Thomas Ebel, Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht
  • Titanium powder: the early days, by James Sears, Carpenter Technology Corporation
  • Non-fusion metal additive manufacturing processes – a review, by Animesh Bose, Desktop Metal
