Biomaterials will give out two awards in 2021 to recognize the accomplishments of scientists in the field of biomaterials and is now openly calling for nominations.

The  ‘Biomaterials Global Impact Award’ recognizes distinguished research and development accomplishments in the field of biomaterials. Nomination is open for all. The award comprises an honorarium of USD 3,000.

The ‘Biomaterials Diversity Award for Young Investigator’ recognizes and encourages early career researchers in biomaterials science with outstanding contributions to the field. Nominations are open for all researchers under the age of 40, but the award committee especially seeks to recognize researchers from traditionally underrepresented groups in the scientific field. This award will comprise an honorarium of USD 2,000.

Please submit the nomination via the nominator’s email account by 15th September 2021. Self-nominations are not accepted.

An award ceremony will be organized during the 2021 Chinse Biomaterials Congress, to be held Oct. 11-Oct. 14, 2021, in Shanghai, China. Both awardees will be invited to attend the ceremony (in person or virtually) and present their most recent research.
