Biomaterials Advances will give one award in 2023 to recognize the innovative work of scientists in the field of biomaterials and is now openly calling for nominations.

The  ‘Biomaterials Advances Innovation Award’ recognizes innovative research in the field of biomaterials with the potential to make an impact beyond academia. We seek outstanding research that has contributed or is likely to contribute to solve an unmet clinical need or be adopted by industry or that demonstrate a concept that will change policy. Nomination is open for all candidates who have published with Biomaterials Advances (including our previous name Materials Science and Engineering C). The award comprises an honorarium of USD 2,000.

Please submit the nomination via the nominator’s email account by 15th April, 2023. Self-nominations are not accepted.

An online award ceremony will be organized and awardee will be expected to present his/her work virtually. The awardee will be invited to publish a perspective article in Biomaterials Advances.
