Biomaterials Award Call for Nomination

Biomaterials will give out two awards in 2022 to recognize the accomplishments of scientists in the field of biomaterials and is now openly calling for nominations.

 

The  ‘Biomaterials Global Impact Award’ recognizes distinguished research and development accomplishments in the field of biomaterials. Nomination is open for all. The award comprises an honorarium of USD 3,000.

The ‘Biomaterials Award for Young Investigator’ recognizes and encourages early career researchers in biomaterials science and engineering with outstanding contributions to the field. Nomination is open for all researchers under the age of 40, but the award committee especially seeks to recognize researchers from traditionally underrepresented groups in the scientific field. This award comprises an honorarium of USD 2,000.

Please submit the nomination via the nominator’s email account by 31st July, 2022. Self-nominations are not accepted.

An award ceremony will be organized during the 32nd Annual Conference of the European Society of Biomaterials,which will take place from September 4 to 8, 2022 in Bordeaux, France. All awardees will be invited to attend the ceremony (in person or virtually) and present their most recent research.

The awardees’ recent publications in Biomaterials will be open for free access for a limited time.

  2. CV of the nominee.
  3. Additional supporting materials such as recommendation letters (maximum of two) are welcomed but not mandatory.
