Scigrip, which makes adhesives, will be showcasing a range of methacrylate (MMA) adhesives for the automotive assembly market during the Advanced Engineering Show taking place in Birmingham, UK at the beginning of November.

According to the company, the formulations bond interior and exterior carbon fiber components, require little to no surface preparation and can help to improve output through reduced fixture and de-jig times.

‘We intend to accelerate sales of Scigrip MMAs for carbon bonding within the UK auto sector.  The Advanced Engineering Show is the perfect forum to develop this initiative,’ said Tim Johnson, European sales and marketing manager. ‘We have recently secured several new and substantial supply contracts with Tier 1 & 2 manufacturers within the UK and Europe, and my team is looking to replicate more of these successes in the coming months.’
