A car made with TeXtreme Spread Tow carbon reinforcements has won the World Solar Challenge in the Challenger Class.

The total weight of the car, Nuna8, was 150 kg and was the lightest car in the whole competition. The total amount of the composite parts of the car weighs in at 41kg, which is a reduction with 10kg from its predecessor.
