Building on the success of the European Microscopy Congress in 2012 (hosted by the Royal Microscopical Society) and previous MICROSCIENCE events in London, the Royal Microscopical Society will be organising the Microscience Microscopy Congress in July 2014.

The MMC2014 International Conference will host multiple parallel themes each day, and include excellent plenary lectures on a wide spectrum of topics. Each theme is composed of headline invited speakers - drawn from around the world - and contributed papers. The conference will include plenty of time and space for poster sessions within the Exhibition, as well as workshops, pre-congress workshops and other associated meetings before and during MMC2014. A major Microscopy and Imaging exhibition will take place, as well as an International Scientific Imaging competition.

The international conference will comprise over 24 sessions within 14 symposia. The scientific programme includes both light and electron microscopy across both the life and physical sciences, along with scanning probe and flow cytometry techniques

The Royal Microscopical Society will be celebrating its 175th Anniversary in 2014, and there will be a number of celebratory lectures and events also taking place during MMC2014.
