Covering an area of 3000 m2, Compocity will feature:

  • houses approved by Minha Casa, Minha Vida [Federal Government Housing Program] and schools built in accordance with the standards of FNDE;
  • an area dedicated to applications in energy, including wind turbine blades, transmission poles and a gas station;
  • a 'neighborhood' focused on solutions for the transportation industry, including a bus, off-road vehicles, cars and a twin-engine plane;
  • a leisure area with skate park, pool, pier, jetski and a boat; and
  • the central plaza, where there are kiosks, shops, an ATM and a phone booth.

There are also signposts for streets, bus stops and other items common to a real city.

“Compocity will show our ability to develop solutions for all segments, from infrastructure and energy to transportation, housing and leisure.”
Gilmar Lima, president, ALMACO

ALMACO has also reserved an area at Compocity for a recycling station. The system for reuse of the composite material was developed by the association in partnership with the Institute of Technological Research (IPT).

FEIPLAR COMPOSITES & FEIPUR 2012, International Exhibition and Congress on Composites, Polyurethane and Engineering Plastics, takes place in São Paulo, Brazil, on 6-8 November.
