COMPOSITES EUROPE 2014 will be focusing on the wind energy industry.

The 90-minute tours, conducted in cooperation with OMWINDENERGY, will take place on 8 October 2014 at 10:30 am and 1 pm.

The tours will include a look at the following technologies:

  • adhesives for robust wind turbine blades (Dow);
  • PET foam core materials with optimised formability (3A Composites);
  • production-ready carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) materials as structural components (Zoltek);
  • a new composite for turbine blades (3V Fibreglass);
  • 2D automated lay-up of non-crimp fabric (NCF) layers (SAERTEX).

At lunch time there will be a networking reception in the Composites VIP Lounge.

COMPOSITES EUROPE 2014 takes place at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre in Germany on 7-9 October.
