The two-seat, single engine AKOYA consumes only 5 litres of fuel per 100 km. At 6.9 m (22.6 ft) long with a wingspan of 11 m (36 ft), the aircraft can be readily stored in a garage; the design permits the wings to be folded backwards to give a total width of only 3.2 m (10.5 ft).The AKOYA is equipped with multi-access technology that enables it to land on water, ground and snow without prior modification.

LISA Airplanes is using ACG's products for the wings, fuselage and a number of smaller composite components of the AKOYA.

ACG’s VTM260 epoxy resin prepregs, which can be used for both component and tooling applications, are long out life, flexible cure temperature formulations that can be applied to a wide range of reinforcements and adapted to a variety of low cost vacuum-bag composite processes. They offer extended out life up to 30 days, an essential characteristic for large-scale projects such as the AKOYA.
