Chemicals company BASF says that it has increased its neopentylglycol (NPG) production capacity in Germany by 10,000 metric tons per year.

It also plans to expand its capacity at its site in Nanjing, China by a further 40,000 tons from 2020, leading to a total of 215,000 metric tons of NPG capacity worldwide.
