According to the latest quarterly market survey carried out by ABMACO, Brazil could consume around 210 000 tons of composites in 2010, compared to 183 000 in 2009 (a 14.7% increase).

During the first half of 2010, the industry made US$0.71 billion, around 20% higher than the same period of 2009.

ABMACO believes civil construction, transportation and wind power will remain the top users of composites in Brazil in 2010.
