Cato, based in the Netherlands, manufactures lightweight thermoplastic composite products for aircraft interior, personal ballistic protection, consumer electronics, luggage and sporting goods. The company can achieve cycle times of less than 1 minute and a production capacity of 1000 to 1,000,000 products/year.

AMAC GmbH (Advanced Materials Advisory & Consultancy), based in Aachen, Germany, was founded in 2012 and is headed by Dr Michael Effing. AMAC is an advisor to the new Aachen Centre for Integrated Lightweight Production (AZL) at RWTH Aachen University.

Sales expansion

Cato's aim is to further develop its business worldwide and is targeting the aerospace, automotive, electronics, protection, consumer products and sporting goods sectors.
