Velox, a supplier of raw materials for composites, has introduced a new product range for 3D printing made by its partner SK Chemicals.

The company will distribute Skyplete, a new plastics material range for the 3D industry, in Europe.

‘3D printing or additive manufacturing (AM) has become indispensable for design and manufacturing in different industries,’ said François Minec, general manager at Velox.

Skyplete materials include the EN100, a PLA-based biodegradable type with a heat resistance (HDT) of 100°C and the E-Series, bio-copolyester types with higher impact and temperature resistance than ABS and PLA materials.
