Aveva, which makes engineering and industrial software, has announced its 2020 European Simulation Academic Competition. The contest, which is entering its second year but marks its fist time in the European region, is open to students countries in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway and Switzerland and involves solving a real-world engineering problem by learning and leveraging Simulation, the company’s software which helps develop and control the complete engineering lifecycle. The competition is open to students studying chemical engineering with the winner receiving a €3,000 prize, and the runner up €1,500.
