Press measurement company Kistler and the Netzsch Group will be showcasing their plastic composites processing technology jointly at JEC, taking place from 12–14 March 2019.

According to the companies, manufacturers are facing increasing complexity in processes such as resin transfer molding (RTM) and electronics overmolding.

Kistler has developed ComoNeo, a process monitoring system for intelligent plastic processing, which includes the ComoNeoCOMPOSITES feature to allow process monitoring for cycles of up to eight hours.

Netzsch will be exhibiting its range of dielectric sensors from Netzsch including sensor technology for carbon composites that was premiered at JEC World 2018. The company says that its dielectric analysis (DEA) signals supplied by its sensors are integrated directly in ComoNeo.

Visitors to the stand shared by Netzsch and Kistler can see a live demonstration of how an integrated system can improve process reliability in composites production.
