Das 22. Symposium "Verbundwerkstoffe und Werkstoffverbunde" findet vom 26.-28. Juni 2019 in der Wissenschaftsstadt Kaiserslautern statt. Mit der TU Kaiserslautern, der Hochschule und 16 weiteren Instituten, darunter dem Institut für Verbundwerkstoffe, 2 Fraunhofer-Institute (IESE & ITWM) und das Deutsche Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz, wird die Stadt durch die Wissenschaft maßgeblich geprägt. Seit Gründung der Universität spielen Werkstoffe eine wesentliche Rolle und seit bald drei Jahrzehnten gehören die Verbundwerkstoffe mit zu den wichtigsten Forschungsthemen in Kaiserslautern.
Das 22. Symposium „Verbundwerkstoffe und Werkstoffverbunde“ wird dieses Flair in die Konferenz einbringen und möchte die Teilnehmer zum gegenseitigen Austausch von Forschungsergebnissen, Innovationen und Erkenntnissen animieren. Composites and material associations make a decisive contribution to the development of new products. Consistent research in the field of composite materials expands this potential and thus ensures not only the continuous development of the industry, but also of the entire industry, nationally and internationally.
The 22nd Symposium "Composite Materials and Material Associations " will take place from 26-28 June 2019 in the scientific city of Kaiserslautern. With the TU Kaiserslautern, the university and 16 other institutes, including the Institute of Composite Materials, 2 Fraunhofer Institutes (IESE & ITWM) and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, the city is significantly influenced by science. Materials have played an important role since the university was founded, and for almost three decades the composites have been one of the most important research topics in Kaiserslautern.
