Piezo 2015 that is held every two years is widely acknowledged as the most prestigious industrially focused international conference in the piezo materials community.

Piezo Institute. The 8th International Biannual Conference on Electroceramics for End-Users in Slovenia will bring together experts to share ground breaking advances in piezoelectric and multifunctional materials, technologies and devices.

The conference is organised by the Piezo Institute, international not-for-profit organisation established in 2008 by the multidisciplinary EC-funded MIND consortium of academic researchers and leading European companies.

The programme at this conference will address the latest advances in electroactive, particularly piezoceramic, materials and devices.

The exhibition will offer a host of networking opportunities with the advantage of connecting with peers and colleagues in a professional environment.

Piezo 2015 “Electroceramics for End-Users” will take place in Maribor, Slovenia from January 25th to 28th, 2015. The conference will be held in the hotel Bellevue, situated situated  on the ski-centre Mariborsko Pohorje, at the outskirts of Maribor. This second largest city in Slovenia is located at the crossroads to Graz (Austria), Zagreb (Croatia), and Ljubljana (capital of Slovenia).

Piezo 2015 for End-Users Conference is held every two years and is widely  acknowledged as the most prestigious international conference in the piezo materials community.

The conference will also feature a workshop on “High Temperature Piezoelectric Materials and measurement” on the 25th January. The workshop, organised jointly with the European Metrology Research Programme project, METCO, will provide in-depth coverage of high temperature piezoelectric measurements including resonance and interferometry, comparison of measurement methods, uncertainties and best practice. It will also cover developments in high temperature piezoelectric materials from research and industry perspectives.
