The development of mankind from past to present has been achieved at the cost of sustainability. The issues emerging from development puts a big question mark on future that is habitable and conducive for the next generations, therefore sustainable development is amongst the greatest challenges faced by the humanity. Efforts to realize sustainable development such as the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and many other governmental, private, and non-governmental undertakings are driving steps to secure human and environmental well-being. Compelling bandwidth of issues related to sustainability, approaches to address it, and the final outcomes harbour enormous room for knowledge sharing, creative cross-disciplinary approaches, and thoughtful problem solving. The researchers, industry practitioners, academicians and various stakeholders of the society need to identify ways and means to address the wide range of issues threatening sustainability and leverage best practices to realize holistic well-being.

The United Nations 2030 agenda of 17 (SDG) Sustainable Development Goals is a bold step towards guiding the global community to act for sustainability. It is a holistic approach, towards interlinking the three dimensions of sustainable development, i.e., economic development, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. In view of the above premise, the present International conference on Innovations in Technology, Management & Design for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) seeks to catalyse actions and partnerships across various disciplines to support and be part of the exciting transformational journey of UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
