New Elsevier journal Energy Storage Materials, launched at last year's Carbon 2015 conference, has released its first issue. The issue is available here via Science Direct and will be freely accessible for one year.
Energy Storage Materials is an international multidisciplinary forum for communicating scientific and technological advances in the field of materials for any kind of energy storage. The journal reports significant new findings related to the formation, fabrication, textures, structures, properties, performances, and technological applications of materials and their devices for energy storage such as thermal, electrochemical, chemical, electrical, magnetic, and mechanical energy storage.
2015 also saw the launch of Applied Materials Today. Part of the Materials Today family - including Nano Today and Nano Energy, as well as recent additions Materials Today: Proceedings and Materials Discovery - Applied Materials Today offers authors rigorous peer review, rapid decisions and high visibility of their research. Issues are available here via Science Direct.
