An international symposium bringing researchers from both academic and industrial organisations on a single platform.  Research in nanotechnology has been going on for the last 25 years with multi-billion dollars investment from public, private and venture capitalists.

Now is the right time for academic researchers to discuss with the industrial organisations to come up with an exploitation plan and future strategy for the ultimate goal i.e. benefit for the society. This symposium aims to discuss three major thematic areas under "nano" such as (i) Nano-energy/environmental for better society; (ii) Nano-medicine for health & diagnostics and (iii) Nano-catalysis for green technology.

This symposium is a part of the dissemination activity of our on-going project funded by British Council, UK and Department of Science & Technology, India under the bilateral activity "UK-India Education and Research Initiative".
