Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT) is an autonomous, self-financing Engineering College, approved by AICTE – New Delhi, affiliated to Anna University – Chennai and accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. BIT was founded in 1996 by the Bannari Amman Group (BAG), one of the largest industrial conglomerates with a wide spectrum of manufacturing, trading and service activities.
