We are proud to be able to announce that Professor Jie Yin, Temple University, USA, has been selected as the winner of 2017 Extreme Mechanics Letters Young Investigator Award.
Professor Yin was selected on basis of his paper ‘Design of cut unit geometry in hierarchical kirigami-based auxetic metamaterials for high stretchability and compressibility’, published in Extreme Mechanics Letters Volume 12 (2017), pp. 77 – 85.
