Advanced Manufacturing International (AMI) has appointed Dr Larry Megan as its vice president (VP) of smart manufacturing.

The company said that Dr Megan has extensive experience leading complex smart manufacturing initiatives, and, as VP, will help manufacturers transition to digital manufacturing technologies and processes. He currently serves on the governance board of the Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute in the US.

‘Adopting and implementing digitally transformative technologies can be a challenging endeavor for any manufacturer, as they impact nearly every aspect of production, supply chains, and customer engagement,’ said Dr. Megan. ‘However, with an experienced team and the right partners, the gains a manufacturer can expect are substantial.’
