For the 17th year in a row, SKF has been listed as one of the most sustainable companies by the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI).

This was due to the company’s performance in supply chain management and overall environmental management program, SKF said.

'Our long-running inclusion in the DJSI is something that we are all very proud of within SKF,’ said Rob Jenkinson, director, corporate sustainability. ‘Sustainability issues for businesses have evolved during this period, with an ever increasing focus on reducing negative environmental impacts and doing more for society as a whole.’

In addition, SKF is also a member of the FTSE4Good Index and Ethibel Sustainability Index (ESI) Excellence Europe.
