Combustion Seminar & Electrotechnologies Seminar attendees will gain valuable information and insight from experts in the industrial process heating industry.

These include a new Electrotechnologies Seminar that will take place at the same time as its 44th Annual Combustion Seminar from 21-22 October, 2013, in Indianapolis, Indiana. This seminar will provide information on a wide variety of process heating electrotechnologies. Those involved in production leadership, plant management, production engineering, energy managers, plant/facility engineers, maintenance supervisors and maintenance technicians will find this beneficial to their jobs.

The seminar will consist of two full days of instruction comprising several general sessions for all attendees, including an Electrotechnologies Overview, Working with Your Electrical Utility, a Q&A Panel, and Industrial Energy Efficiency. The topic ‘Electrotechnologies for Processing Metals’ will cover induction melting, induction hardening, electrical resistance heating treating, electric arc melting, salt brazing, iso-thermal melting, and vacuum carburizing.

In addition to the educational seminars, there will be a joint tabletop exhibition and reception featuring companies from all the technologies represented in the seminars.

The 44th Annual Combustion Seminar is designed to provide current and relevant information for persons responsible for the operation, design, selection and/or maintenance of fuel-fired industrial process furnace and ovens.

IHEA will also hold its Fall Business Conference after the seminars, on 22-23 October.  The Association holds this conference each autumn to bring IHEA member company representatives together for committee meetings and briefing sessions to discuss challenges and hear from experts on issues of concern to members.
