The competition is open to applicants who have graduated from a European university and who have had their theses approved during the 2009/2010, 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 academic years. The subject must be classified under the topic powder metallurgy.
The entry deadline is 4 May 2012
The prizes will be presented at the Opening Plenary session of Euro PM2012 Congress & Exhibition in Basel, Switzerland on 17 September 2012.
Winners will each receive a cheque of €750 and €1000, sponsored by Höganäs AB, in Diploma and Doctorate categories respectively with the opportunity of having their work published in the journal Powder Metallurgy and free registration to the PM2012 Congress.
