The 20-page booklet contains recent case studies on a range of component parts made using the powder metallurgy process and the advantages it provides. The booklet focuses on four distinct areas that benefit from using powder metallurgy: improved performance, increased complexity of component produced, cost saving and weight saving.

The case studies cover a range of applications and industry sectors, from very small medical devices through to automotive components to luxury consumer goods mechanisms.

“This PM case studies booklet is a really good starting point for end users and potential users of PM parts to understand that using PM really can deliver improvements to your product,” said Andrew Almond, EPMA’s marketing manager.

The booklet is available in either hard copy or digital (PDF) formats. To order a hard copy, available free in Europe, or download a digital copy, please go to the EPMA website.
