The International Panel for the Charles Hatchett Award is currently in the process of identifying suitable papers related to the science and technology of niobium for consideration for the 2018 Award.
The Award is sponsored by the world’s leading niobium producer Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineração (CBMM) and is ratified by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3). It is made annually to the author(s) of the best published paper in the general area of the metallurgy of niobium or alloys containing niobium. For the 2018 Award, papers published between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2017 are eligible for consideration.
