The facility is scheduled to go on-line during the summer of 2010.

Proform is an ATW company that was acquired by ATW in 2009, the parent of Parmatech. The new plant will serve as Proform’s future headquarters, and it continues production at its current location in Massachusetts until the new facility is operational. Parmatech and Proform will focus on MIM production and secondary operations for the medical, telecommunications, firearms, hand-tools, semiconductor, and electronic packaging markets.

“MIM is a very exciting technology which has now established itself as a mainstream metal fabrication technique,” says Peter C. Frost, ATW president. “By acquiring Proform and setting them up in their purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility, we will be in a position to offer [...] logistical and redundancy benefits.”
