Counterpart nanoart

Another beautiful microscopy image, this time from Nano Today:

SEM image of GaN nanostructures self-assembled at relatively high pressure and high temperature chemical vapor deposition on GaN substrates. The hexagonal shape is clearly visible indicating faceted growth (along c-axis). These nanostructures have unique optical properties along with highly anti-refl ective and hydrophobic properties. Such interesting optical and physical properties are useful for several nano-device applications.
