The  raised funds are to be invested into a powder metallurgy complex using nano-technologies.

According to the newspaper’s source, the parties have discussed several investment options, and the main one at the moment is RUSNANO’s investment into KAMAZ in exchange for its shares.

Kamaz-Metallurgy is 100% owned by KAMAZ. The company produces cast iron sections, steel and non-ferrous castings and forgings. The complex’s projected annual capacity is 315,000 tons of castings and 187,500 forgings and hot stampings.
