Green chemistry is an essential tool in achieving sustainability. It includes the design of chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances. Apart from providing benefits to human health, environment, and economic sustainability, green chemistry highlights the design of safer chemicals and the prevention of waste production in developing cleaner production to green products.

In this light, Reaction Intensification & Sustainable Energy (RISE) Research Group, Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang would like to cordially invite you to the 1st International Symposium of Reaction Engineering, Catalysis & Sustainable Energy (RECaSE) with the theme, New Frontiers in Green Chemistry for Sustainable Energy.

In this one day virtual symposium, RECaSE 2021 would serve as a platform for academicians, researchers, scientists, practitioners and students to generate and present new ideas in related fields. The symposium also aims to gather intellectuals from various fields to share knowledge and discuss the recent trends and current issues in the fields of chemical engineering, catalysis and sustainable energy.
