The aim of this international symposium is to bring together academicians, researchers, industry and clinicians who have joined forces in the quest for novel application of light, nanomaterials and light based technologies. The focal themes include application of materials and light based techniques for biomedical applications and spans to broad areas of biomaterial and material development, characterization and applications. The material part will contribute to areas of Synthesis, functionalization and size dependent properties of nanostructures and Nanosystems. Interest will be on applications in Biological and Medical fields like Sensing, Diagnostics, Drug and Gene delivery, Imaging, tissue engineering and Nanorobots. The symposium will also explore tissue optics and microscopy, spectroscopy of biological systems, nanobiophotonics, photodiagnostics, sensing, photonic devices and instrumentation for biophotonics, clinical applications, a range of imaging methodologies.
