Chemistry Department was established in the year 2007 and from then the department has been engaged in imparting the highest level and quality of academic education. The department offers PG as well as research programs, M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Chemistry and courses (core as well as electives) for B.Tech programs and M.Sc. Nano science of the university. The department has excelled in teaching and research with a good strength of faculty, technical and lab staff. Research in the Department of Chemistry is a symbiosis of diverse areas of chemical sciences and technologies. The department is equipped with state-of-art instruments to do frontier research in chemical sciences including UV-VIS-NIR-DRS, FTIR, NMR, GC, HPLC-MASS, fluorescence spectrometer, electrochemical workstation and host other advance technological instruments. The PhD recipients of this department also different industries and distinguished laboratories in India as well as in abroad for post-doc and scientist positions.
