Going Beyond the Fundamentals of Journal Publishing – Advanced Scientific Writing: How to Construct and Write a Research Paper will be held on Zoom (Webinar Registration - Zoom) on 14 September 2021 at 9:00 AM Singapore time. This is a workshop will discuss how to go about to construct and write a research paper, share tips on how to choose the best journal for you and to identify what editors are looking for in an article. Dr Enrique Lavernia, Editor-in-Chief of Materials Science & Engineering A, will share his perspective on how to prepare your manuscript to be considered in an high-impact journal. He is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering in the Samueli School of Engineering and the former Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for the University of California, Irvine from 2015 – 2020.
This will be followed by a Q&A session where you will have the opportunity to ask questions with the panelists.
